Help fight for my mom
Thank you for helping me reach my Run ALS fundraising goal! This event raises critical funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness about the urgent need for treatments and a cure.
Two years ago, my mom became the first person in our family to be diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Since then, I’ve witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of this progressive, fatal disease. ALS slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is only 2 to 5 years. ALS can strike anyone, and there is still no known cause or cure.
That’s why I’m running: to change the statistics and bring help and hope to families like mine who are living with ALS. In hopes that one day, no one will ever hear the words “Your have ALS.”
Over the past few years, incredible advancements in ALS research, expanded access to care, and meaningful legislation aimed at improving the quality of life for those affected by this disease has been made. But we can’t stop now. The fight for a cure continues, and the key to making that happen is you.
Please consider joining me in this fight—whether by running alongside me or by sponsoring my run. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of people living with ALS and their families, just like mine.
